I can roll my eyes at all the fat-shaming because it was written in 1995 and what else can you expect, but the most egregious example was a guy making a "'joke", based solely upon her name, that a doctor sounded like she was fat and liked cats. Then the woman who heard the joke laughing and thinking that he was funny. That's not humor. Fat-phobic and funny is bad enough, fat-phobic and not even funny is pathetic.
