Cynthia, Jack, and Ellspeth bring supplies and join Tory in France to plan for more complex dual rescue mission.

Nick comes from 1940 and needs to find a way to rescue scientist from Northern France. While trying to determine location of other mirrors, Tory, Nick, and Allarde get pulled into war in Northern France. They attempt rescue, but scientist family is held hostage so he cannot leave with Irregulars.

All from 1st adventure return then Christmas. Cynthia spends part with Jack, burns out her magic rescuing boaters and reveals a facial scar. Tori gets to attend sister's wedding, but not see mother. Allarde is nearby and they spend time together then chooses to break off with Justin since he is so tightly bound to his land and his father would disinherit him if he chose her.
