These pages teach us about a few martyrs from 1500s who were killed due to their belief being different than the way the country was doing.

This section of pages talks about Felix Manz and Michael Sattler who started modern Christianity back in 1500's but were executed for changing the ways and beliefs of the Roman Catholic faith. They were doing things as the Bible did by baptizing people when they are grown and know why they want to be baptized as opposed to being forced into doing it as a newborn to fit in with society. Jesus was baptized as a grownup

The book continues using examples such as how it is ok if evil people enter church because this will always happen, there is always going to be some type of envy from someone that causes evil thoughts from someone. This is why the seven deadly sins are a reminder to get these feelings out of your heart.

This book is getting better as the chapters go on, it is a complex book to begin with but I love the comparison between the state and church. A good example is how the world created the easter eggs and bunny so pagans will get involved in the holy days and they call them holidays. They want to make a society that is sacral so it is easier to control us.

This reading has been interesting to say the least. These pages have been something that have been eye opening and allow us to know how the government wanted to control the church at one time and even currently, its just more indirectly nowadays.

This has been a decent book to do a discussion on, it is talking about how the government is trying to make everyone be alike even with the church. They wanted Sacral society.

It almost sounds like the government officials are ordering the church people around and telling them what they cannot do as well as what they are allowed to do.

This mentions that the church is losing its luster and becoming more worldly. Doing things more like the old testament.

These pages discussed how Pilate questioned what did Jesus do wrong that the Romans wanted Him crucified, they responded that he calls himself the King of Jews and there is only one king in their eyes, Caesar. So they even called for the freeing of a zealot criminal Barabas because he called Caesar his king.

This section of the book talks about how Judas Iscariot the one who betrayed Jesus is a Zealot, which is a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religous, political or other ideals. The Zealots despise the Jewish.
