One nurse had to go to a really racist "confederate" part of oklahoma. She was balck and decided to treat them anyway. If I were here I would not. That seems like an unsafe situation.

I read a story about a girl who was an army nurse and had to witness some very serious injuries in the field and was in very dangerous situations. She had trouble finding people that could fully understand her. Especially her husband. She divorced him after 36 years because she realized their paths were very different.
