Couple notes
1. My major emphasis in school was the civil war so other than the broad strokes I don't know much about the revolutionary war. That being said... Holy cow was every man then such a freaking diva. Cheese and crackers.
2. Why in the name of god did the British not send some of it's 30 boats!! On the West side of Valcour Is?? How could they not? Especially since they had Iroquois on the shore later??

Thus far the book is very well laid out. Mr. Brumwell does an excellent job of laying out the facts as they are known and pointing out when they are dubious at best.

I have always been fascinated by history and in particular American History. There is hardly a more well known traitor to America, other than ANYONE associated with helping the confederacy, than Benedict Arnold. I can't wait to read about him.
