While this book can seem dreary and depressing as a young alcoholic mother struggles in rehab so she can regain her 4 year old son, it also shines eventually with resilience of the human spirit. Sonia’s love for her son shines through. The audio book was excellent and gripping. Award-winning book that will be being made into a movie.
