This book was written 10 years ago and is based on reports and data from the mid 2000s, and it shows. Personally, I'm finding most of the chapters lacking because an analysis of romance that does not take into consideration the writers and the content from the margin—outside of the mainstream—is not a complete analysis, in my opinion.
