You can see the future being laid in front of you, and here is nothing you can do - no magical conjuring that is going to reverse that which in inevitable. It breaks your heart over and over again to live through the horrors that so many young gay men faced on a daily basis. The only comfort is that in this case, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The sleeping dragon has been stirred from sleep and is now awake. Perhaps the most difficult part of the book, but one that makes this book an essential read for gay men who were lucky not to have witnessed the unrelenting horrors that many succumbed to,

Yes I know, this is a re-read for me, but its one of the most life affirming books to date, and one that has left an indelible mark on the man I have become. I have missed Robbie, Denise, Nathan, Jeff, Vince and their stories. Its time to bring them all back into within my hand's grasp once again!
