It’s so sweet when Micah starts to speak again, you can really imagine Lyn’s relief.

My fav part of the book. You know it’s love when your family sees a new (good) side of you because of your person.

How big and bold of Lyn to ask Weber to do such a big task less than an hour after meeting him. That’s what being a parent does to you.

Love love love as per usual.

I love them. The kids, the family, their love for each other and how they k is each other without a word being said. Awww.

One thing I’m always going to do is go back to a book I love. This won’t be my last reread.

Micah suddenly speaking again after spending one day with Weber is a testament of his character.

But I also feel kind of bad, am I entering children’s lives as a super fun nanny and then abandoning them just as they get attached to me? Do I leave them scarred?

Fake as in not a real human. Not he’s secretly fake and is really a horrible guy. He’s not two-faced at all.

Why am I reading this again? Simple, I’m in a reading slump and need something relatively short and known to me to nudge me out of it.
But Weber is such a gentleman. I don’t even believe there is a human on this earth so polite and considerate and selfless. Truly, he’s a prize. Too bad he’s fake :/

First chapter really grabbed me. I love this already
