I've decided that I don't like Lady Estora. For all her awareness of her coming power and position she seems to have no considerations for her duties toward her people beyond marrying King Zachary. It's clear to me that while she was taught to be wife, she was not taught how to be a Queen.

There's a word for that, it's called "meddling." It happens when people think that because they serve the king and kingdom they are in a position to dictate the actions of those in superior positions to them because they believe they know what's best.
