Mal is so annoying in this book. He cares about nothing but himself and getting Alina to himself. There alre no redeeming qualities about him. He doesn't care about all of the Ravkan people dying as long as he can have Alina. He throws toddler tantrums constantly. Hate him.
Will Alina do anything, ever? I got some book left but so far she's mostly in her rooms throwing herself a pity party.

Not done, but wanted to update on the 2 things on my mind now.
1. If the darkling can appear to Alina and interact with her, why not pop into their meetings an learn their plans? Seems like something he'd do.
2. Mal doesn't seem to fit his own character. He's only there for Alina? Doesn't care about helping Ravka? Pouting bc Alina doesn't spend time alone with him.
Just strikes me as wrong for his character.
