Kauhi, i have no words to describe his deed. Three times killed his fiance out of anger and jelousy and the girl remains faithful to him. She shoul rightfuly ditch him. Likely one of her latest rescuer along with both families decided to take matter into their hand. Echoes of Bonnie Swans now :)

Yes, the only conclussion I would accept as happy. The king after hesring oit the girl's story married her to her rescuer. IT's sad and telling that till now she considered herself a property of Kauhi, not a person in her own rights, duti-bound, I guess
