BRUH. If only we had the technology then to remove gun bullets. Pa's dead, (because they couldn't remove the gun bullet) and Johnny doesn't know what to do. Johnny took over all the work on the farm, Johnny lives a few hours away from Richmond, Virginia, which is the capital of the Confederate States. Shocking.

The historic feel of this book is crazy. Pa fought in the Civil War for the South but was wounded and decommissioned. Johnny stays at the house with his Ma, and they had to do all the work, due to Pa being injured. Kind of want to see what happens next.
