The last half was far better than the first. I ended up liking it more. Still had problems with the liberties in analyzing the songs & things Kurt said + the glossing over of things but it makes sense when you think about the purpose of Azzerad doing this in the first place. Didn’t love love it but I didn’t hate it!

This book is kind of boring me to death. I remember why I put it down. It includes every last detail all smushed together in long chapters - exhausting for me to read. But in this section, it all circles back around to the same few things: the band was gross, Kurt slept a lot bc he was depressed and hated his fame, and they were assholes to past members with a huge lack of communication skills… that’s all!

Getting into the meat of it. I love how it’s not JUST focused on Kurt and how it’s really taking time to lay the foundation of how everyone’s lives were before the band and during!!!

Wendy and Don both suck so bad. I hate the way this guy writes dialogue/quotes I can’t get over it
