The first 100 pages were a bit of a slog. However, it has since took a turn for the better.

This is one of those books that I can’t decide if I care to continue reading it or not. The mystery has me intrigued, but the narrator is annoying, and the writing far too simple to truly stimulate. However, I’m curious enough in the premise to see it through—for now, at least.
