Faramir is amazing and gets criminally overlooked, especially since Tolkien put so much of himself into the character. Faramir may actually be my favorite LotR character- except for anyone with Silmarillion connections, of course. Actually, all elves are in their own special category, but I can say that Faramir is my *def* favorite Man. Oops, wait, except for Viggorn, he's also in his own separate category...

Anyone who thinks Smeagol is a weird name for my Chihuahua should refer back to the 'Taming of Smeagol' and 'Passage of the Marshes' chapters, where Tolkien compares Smeagol to a pathetic little dog *literally six or seven times.*
