Since school started for me I had to put this book on hold. Now I'm getting back into it and I find Aristotle is becoming much more interesting. I think my sympathies still lie with Plato, however....

Been a while since I've updated this. I've since started school and haven't been on Goodreads as much. Right now, if I'm interpreting Aristotle correctly here, he's demonstrating that acting virtuously is not just a matter of a fixed behaviour, but also in the sense behaviour is structured. I only have a few characters left, so I'll cut it short--this makes me want to imagine how Aristotle would respond to Plato...

I'm taking my time with Aristotle, not trying to rush through him. Reading both the Ancient Greek (as much as I can at least!) And the English/notes. Pausing when I read it, to question myself: well is that really true?/Why is Aristotle saying this?

It's really fun and interesting! Having some knowledge on Greek culture and thought is also beneficial but not necessary.
