But there's no build up to diagnosis or anything-just says 2 months later and surgery is done. Maybe her reasons are she wanted a different memoir to all the rest where they mainly tell if the symptoms, diagnosis, surgery, chemo. Or maybe she didn't really want to relive it all through the writing? After chemo they sold the farmhouse, rehomed the donkey. Bought a new house only six miles away.

It's an exhausting battle, after all that, no one will do anything. Some terrible comments online as a result of the article, some from some relatives of cancer patients who had died, they had totally missed the point, it really did beggar belief as Shirley said. Absolutely sweltered with rushing around and the wig and hat on, then next minute it comes off!
