I'm glad that I stuck with the book and it picked up. Back from the dead, racism, murders, The Columbia River, dams, etc. seems like it will all intersect now towards the end where each chapter just seemed to be a whole separate book. Glad it's all coming together.

This is my second attempt at the book. I hope I get through it this time!! I can almost see where the book is heading, which makes it a little disappointing. At least when the scenery/ background/place of action is described, it flows very nicely.
