Why is it so weird that a woman in her early 20s is a virgin? Why is this a trope that keeps coming up everywhere?

He kept coming on to her, wouldn’t take no for an answer, and now that he knows she’s a virgin, he’s mad at her and is acting like she was chasing after him?
