Starr is having lunch with her family, they are giving their prayers, she explains how Sekani's prayer is always long because he adds lot of details. When Starr gives her prayer it was short and her's are usually long but her, which made everyone go quiet in silence.

After Starr had the talk with the police she felt like weights been lifted of her chest. She she kept having nightmares but she still manages to get enough rest.

These past pages was about Starr struggling to tell the cops about what happened to her brother because the cops killed Khalil for no reason but she eventually told them what happened.

These past pages was about Starr starting school and think she can be normal for 7 hours and no one will bring up Khalil. She will also meet the cops about Khalil after school.

Starr decides to talk to the police about what happens when Khalil died. She i also going to her grandmothers house to make her feel better about what happened to her grandson.

Starr starts to get nightmares and couldn't sleep because she lost her brother in front of her eyes she is also staying with her uncle so she can get out of her home town for a bit.

Starr has a boyfriend that is white and her mom knows about it but her dad doesn't because she think that her dad wont be ok with her dating a white boy. Her mom doesn't say anything because she doesn't want to get in between their fight.
