The bay view fours lives start to go normal. Except that Nate and brownyn are broken up and she’s trying to get over it. She starts to date eve man the guy she used to have a crush on and she doesn’t really feel anything, she’s bored. Until Nate shows up at her concert 3 months later and they talk. He wants to be friends again and they still have chemistry. addy is moving in with her sister who is dating Eli.

They all get together including Ashton kris and Maeve. Kris tells them that there is still the possibility that Simon killed himself so addy decides to visit janae to try to get information. She tells addy everything, how Simon planned his suicide and wanted to ruin their lives also how jake was the one writing the tumblr posts. Jake attacks addy but cooper saves her. Nate is released from juvie but ignores brownyn.

Nate is arrested for the murder of Simon and everyone is shocked. Brownyn panics and begs Eli the lawyer to help Nate since he doesn’t have a lawyer. He aggreees and becomes his lawyer. The now three get together and review the old rumble posts. They figure out that jake write one of them since it was about a fake situation addy had told him personally. They suspect he is involved but not that he killed Simon.

An edit is made about the four, clips of them coming out of their cars at the same time. Addy talks with jake at his house and leaves satisfied knowing that she is free and her own person. Cooper is distressed and ends up going to a guys house who he ends up kissing. His dad is homophobic so he’s worried and hides it. Brownyn sneaks Nate into her house and they make out and propose the idea of a relationship

A news crew is waiting for the four to come out of school but brownyn and Nate decide to escape through the back of the school and end up in a mall. They talk and brownyn kisses him on the cheek. Addy decides to chop her hair off and realizes she used to blend into jake and agree with everything her said. Cooper breaks up with keely .

Bronwyn and Nate are talking a lot more on the phone he gave her. They watch movies over the phone and when she tells Nate she only has 30 minutes left to talk he tells her to hang up so he can call her the next day and give her another phone. He seems to be growing attached. All four of them are talked to again since the posts were published for everyone to see. Everyone looks suspicious and they are scared.

Addy calls her older sister to pick her up from the police station and they talk. Her sister convinced her to talk to jake about what happene, she s scared but does it anyways. Jake gets extremely mad and scares her but her sister picks her up yet again. Nate gives Brownyn one of his burner phones so they can talk but he lies and says he used to have a crush on her as a kid but she actually had a crush on him then.

Once all of them are taken separately to questioning they are showed different posts in simons blog about them. Only using their initials but people know it’s them. Brownyn cheated on all her chemistry tests, addy cheated on jake, cooper used enhancements to play better and Nate is still dealing drugs. They understand this gives them full motive to have killed I’m on and are all hiding something.

Cooper feels pressured to be amazing at baseball by his father. He feels forced to go to simons funeral since he was there when he died. Another tumblr post has been made by the anonymous person and they describe how they had been watching Simon to find away to kill him and how they hid all the epicena. All four of them go to the funeral and end up going to questioning because the post made people suspicious.

A mysterious tumblr post by a unknown person asmits to the murder of Simon, leaving Nate confused and disturbed. Brownyn’s backstory reveals that she has been pushing herself in school all her life because her sister has cancer and she doesn’t want any academic pressure to fall on ber. Nates suddenly shows up at her house and she plays piano. We find out that jake is controlling over addy also that she cheated.
