This book makes me so homesick. I miss Monterey bay

Reading this right after Jasmine Throne really highlights how brilliantly Grant used POV changes here. By having a large cast of characters she’s able to flow seamlessly from character to character to best show how the events of the story are unfolding without being anchored to one place or person. There’s no moment where it breaks tension or throws you out of the story— we’re always we’re we need to be.

My third reread and I still want to scream at her to get the hell out of there
