Ugh, this book is agony. When an author uses the phrase "it's simple" and "clearly" every other paragraph, it's a good bet that he doesn't even believe it himself. When information is truly simple, there's no need to point it out to the reader. And no, Thord, it wasn't simple.
Starting a book with a PHP lesson yet without useful or interesting examples was a tragic mistake.
