Great writing, but funny how the best chapter so far is the Introduction. Not that the chapters I have read so far are bad, just because there is a lot of pearls of wisdom and great prose in the introduction.
Then 2 or more pages of the 11 page foreword from Richard Ford is him saying how much he never liked stories about dogs.
But everything so far in this book, including the foreword, is extremely well written.
