I literally do not understand the conclusions wren draws sometimes. Ice man will say something very plainly and relatable and she somehow twists it into the worst faith interpretation and then 5 chapters later figures out what literally everyone else got at the first sentence. Makes her seem dumb as hell

I know the author wants a lighthearted scene but this tone feels fucked up after these people brutalized her a few days ago and now the narrative feels like it was written without that scene in mind

Literally what the fuck just happened. She asked him to spare this npc he's like "no" and she risks her life to save the npc and he kills the npc and immediately they're buddy buddy patting each other down like he didn't just do the exact thing she passionately didn't want him to do?? Did this book have an editor?

God only 32% and I feel like I've read the same thing over and over and over again and like I should be 70% of the way through. Where tf is this going
