I'm on chapter 2 and already pretty hesitant whether or not to continue...

The heroine is knocking on 30 and lives in a rented room in a mice infested house with 4 other people and apparently needs to get heavily drunk to have sex with her boyfriend which she openly discusses with her roommates like it's a weekly agenda.

I just don't like any of this so far...
