So far, I am enjoying this book, but I am not feeling the stepmother who is also the heroine's friend. The stepmother/friend set her up to be compromised by a fat corset wearing buffoon with yellow teeth and onion breath, because she wants him to take care of her and her daughters. Bitch go get a job or marry this ignoramus yourself.
