My favorite chapter so far: Leonard's letters to Virginia from the beginning of their courtship up to her death by suicide. What a love they shared!

At last Leonard has left Ceylon! I'm so relieved. When I read Woolf's autobiography I think I'm going to skip the section in "Sowing" that relates his experiences in Ceylon. It was rather boring to read his letters from his posts; he was so depressed and sad most of the time.

Oh, I'm disappointed that this volume doesn't include all of Leonard's letters, even knowing that if all were included they'd fill up many volumes. I think this book ought to have been called "The Selected Letters of Leonard Woolf".
