can we all like... collective agree to stop with the "blind character who has magical ability that allows them to see & be written just like a seeing character would be" thing?
That and the "deaf character who can read minds" one. I STG I've read more magically not blind/deaf MCs than actual blind/deaf ones because of how frequently the tropes randomly crop up in fantasy.
