The prologue was thought-provoking and a little smarmy. The Goodreads reviews seem to hold that Taleb takes 300 pages to say what could have been said in 5 (like the prologue?). He spends a great deal of time praising himself and his brilliance. I'm going to spare myself from reading further. Someday, maybe I will read the notes at the end.
