Through Genesis. We have some people (like Joseph of the cloak fame) that refuse to do certain things based off if it was "good" or God wanted them to do it which would imply that God is letting His rules be known even pre-Commandments, but where is it coming from? And other people (perhaps just sinning to be fair) seem to have no indication of anything moral.
