Wow. I was so out of it last night. I totally thought I'd made an update about this book. About how I was so out of it I couldn't tell what I was reading. At the very end of being awake over 30-something hours straight for a horror festival is NOT the perfect time to absorb literature.

This sad stuff has me like sad stuff normally never does. This book is high quality.

The last story had a character named Lugo and a character named Erica. That's the last name of a close friend and my name with an a at the end, respectively.

I have a favorite story now. The one with the couple on the road trip. That one's my favorite.

The finger I let a piece of wood slam into looks a lot less bruised today. I emailed a paragraph of this to my girlfriend because the dude was being just like her.

It's a relief to be able to respect a Kevin again. This guy is seriously killing it. He is the man at writing.

Awww. That last one was sweet.

Boy throws some curve balls. I'll think "oh, I know where this is going" and then it'll take a completely mundane, but like exquisitely mundane, turn, or there'll be a line about beavers making a dam out of memorial trees that hold the person they commemorate.
