Written in 1898 so looking forward to read this important early dog book. I know it will not be completely PC.
I notice part V (5) is 'Owd Bob O' Kenmuir.' Does anyone know if that portion is the same as the book by that name or similar name? Same author so I am thinking yes...

And VERY old fashioned. A b novel maybe?
If you mean B as in not good, no. I think I would recommend it to everyone, but I believe not going to make it to my 'favorites' for dog stories. Some don't like the writing to match the accent, but I think it is in good fun... Hopefully will finish it soon and give a full review.I will also post a couple of excerpts so you will get an idea from some good passages.
