Would you recommend this series for someone who's not actually into military science fiction, but might appreciate the deeper meaning?

There isn't as much action in this series as some others I've read, and there isn't any smut. There are a lot of expletives and violence, but it focuses more on the characters. I prefer character-driven myself. From that standpoint, it's pretty mild for military sci-fi, so I would probably say yes, Tamara.
Hmm; okay. Thanks for the details. I really don't like reading things with swearing - it's worse than hearing it - and also don't enjoy lots of violence, so it's probably not for me.
