I don’t know why this pets my peeves so hard, but I hate when British authors write as American characters and don’t change their language and mannerisms. It’s been bothering me since Aria got into “the lift” and rode it down. Now she’s traveling from Miami to LA and handing over a passport. It’s driving me crazy.
