The version of this book I’m reading is written under the name Zane Menzy. Same book, different pen name?? I’ve never read anything by either, so we’ll see how I like it.

Ugh, multiple pen names! Nowadays it's hard to know who/what is writing these books. 😵💫

Idk how far I’m going to make it into this though. So far the writing is very…poetic? Flowery? Descriptive? Can a book be too descriptive? I can tell you wouldn’t like it. Lots of similes. Almost every noun has a descriptor. Good writing, but not necessarily what I’m looking for. We’ll see how it goes.

It sounds like lyrical writing. Ooh, now you have me curious. I want to try to read it and play - "count the similes/metaphors game." It's a personal favorite. 🤣 (I look forward to your review!)
