Also I wonder if this books opening would have impacted me the way it did if the covid pandemic hadn't happened ugm ALSO ALSO ALSO like I know the Arthur stuff ties into the book more than in the literal way of kirsten and he's like a teather to her of a less chaotic but imperfect world that she can't rly remember but like I'm genre trash people I'm simple brained
