I started out loving this book - the idea of the family and community story being told by an old man who wants to leave it behind for his son. Now, he's repeated the same story more than once, and I am a bit bored by it.

I think one should keep a list, not of favorite books necessarily, but a list of books that one could read to know you better, a list of books that speak to you and about you. This would be on my own short list.
