These "dystopian" stories are depressing! :P Wept like a baby during Grandfather's Final Banquet. Now I'm struggling w/ this whole romantic triangle. Totally not buying her fascination with Ky. (and for the HG crew - Xander is totally Peeta, I can't help it!!!)

Ok, finally starting this one! Not sure if I'm ready for another dystopian story but it's due back to the library soon :P Sure, I can see a lot of similarities to The Hunger Games, but the tone is totally different. Unlike Katniss, it seems like Cassia is totally drinking the Kool-aid, lol. And I'm trying not to think of Xander as Peeta but it's really hard not to. ;)

YUP YUP and Nope. Xander is TOTALLY Gale, dude. I thought that before Ky showed up. The triangle is a little hard to buy at first but you'll see.

Wait, really? B/c I'm over halfway through and still see him as Peeta. I always thought of Gale as this strong, silent, macho type and Peeta as more of this friendly, p*ssy-whipped kid, sooooo.... ;)Maybe this will change as I finish. Still don't get the attraction to Ky tho.

Haha, really? I just finished it and while I did see *some* Gale tendencies in Xander, he was still Peeta to me :P
