Since I only read this at breakfast, this is really slow going. ::sigh::

And so ends The Beast Master. Next up is Lord of Thunder. It will be interesting to see if there are any women in this story.

This book was originally written in the late '50s, so I imagine the use of "fella" could be compared to young men of this decade calling friends and acquaintances "dude." But OMG is it aggravating!
