The understanding and the peace she had felt in Buddy's office had not solidified into lasting convictions. Linda felt… frustrated and afraid and very aware of her own weaknesses. Knowing she would walk from the comfort of this crowded room, with the magnificent voices singing words of praise & peace & then the cold..world. Knowing just how easy it would be to choose wrong again, as she had so often before.

Linda (newswoman) thinking: she understood now. Yes. It was not that they were stronger. They had simply learned to turn to God for what they did not themselves have. And in the moments when God was not there, their weaknesses and their fears and all the other frailties she had condemned within herself, they were all there.

Really like this book!

Very intrigue'g. Korda pulled a Jonah. I am caught up in this story!
