So the Cosmic Background Radiation is actually ordinary starlight from a steady-state universe that's been redshifted by interstellar dust which mostly consists of bacteria that produce carbon microtubes.
Looking at contemporary reviews, I haven't yet found one which straightforwardly says that the famous Professor Hoyle has gone mad. You wonder which contemporary pop science reviewers are being equally polite.

If there are microfossils in meteorites, logically there should also be The Extreme Left Conservative Party.

I don't know what logic Fred is using, but I do know that no other life form has been found in our solar system. With the exception of Le Chat, obviously.
