This fight later on turned into the "Fight Club" As the narrator got closer and closer with Tyler. He noticed that Tyler didn't just make soaps, but also dynamites....

The story starts with the ending and then the narrator started to recall into the past when he suffered from insomnia, which made him go to support groups almost week to relieve his stress, and that's when the intruder Marla showed up. Later on, the narrator then met the guy talking with him in the end of the story- Tyler. According to Tyler,he's a soap maker.
