I hope the rest of the book is better than the rose colored pretense that Dutch colonial rule in Indonesia was lovely until those evil Japanese fomented unrest among the natives. ‘DUTCH business thrived in [indonsesia] thanks to cheap indigenous labor.’ This isn’t a perfect quote but you get the idea. Wow.
