Ok so this book is getting pretty great. I think it would benefit from a professional edit, mostly for bits of inconsistent style, but the story is good and really draws you in.

Interesting so far, if a little slow at times. Reminds me a bit of The Big Lebowski and The Big Sleep, with the messy/gruff protagonist and a few sexy dames...
