Did she just say “it was true that our ultimate purpose in life was supposed to be as vessels to propagate our species. Sometimes animals became extinct… and when that happened shifters had the tough choice to repopulate or allow their species to die”. WTF!? Did she just say she’s supposed to have wolf babies!? How is a wolf and a shifter the same species!?

I appreciate that she’s the stronger one and not as easily rattled. At least the author did this well.

So, his stress response is to try to have sex with her!? “ He had nearly claimed me in the midst of his delirium.”

I never want to hear the hero say “I’ve been with a lot of girls/women before”. Why do authors put this in their stories? And always the male!?

I’m a bit put off by the idea of 19-year olds needing to promise forever at that age. I’ll give this a little longer but this may be a DNF.

This girl is incredibly confusing. She says that she wants some alone time and leave him and then gets upset that he doesn’t chaser!.

And, on the same subject, is it only virgins that are supposed to be respected!? It shouldn’t matter if a woman is not a virgin. You still treat her with respect. There is no extra special respect for a virgin. It’s not like we change once you have sex.

Could we stop with the idea that virgins are supposed to look virginal? And that anyone should be able to talk about your sexual experience when you’re not there!? That is so gross! Not good friend actions.

I don’t love the idea of a manwhore who is forced out of his promiscuity. I want him to choose to be better. Not forced. And I don’t like the idea that he doesn’t want a mate and she said she didn’t but now I’m worried she’s going to turn out to be an innocent that wants more than he does.

Confused. She was all “I’m not interested.” But now she’s butt hurt he didn’t show up!?
