I'm in the minority of people that like the new Goodreads update - I assume that's because I have middle-aged eyes that suddenly need everything to be magnified.
However, GR's algorithm has gone completely wrong since they've started the beta. Their recommendations are just no use at all.
Not saying I'm leaving but am trying StoryGraph as I believe their recommendations are on point.

everytime something is updated, people will complain. But they dont care, then we just adapted to it. Like usual.

First, thank you for friending me. Second, the recommendations are indeed wickety wack. The new Man Ray book suggests similar reading: some cozy mysteries, an infertility memoir, and David Sedaris.

But I remember when Last.fm was a contender for greatness until they did a redesign that lost subscribers in droves and there was also the case of MySpace who managed to make their site both unusable and obsolete. No site is too big to fail.
