“A Bad Day” is one of my favorites.

Oz was really good at forgiving me on my bad days. I hope I was as accommodating to him.

“For I Will Consider My Dog Percy” has me in tears.
“For often I see his shape in the clouds and this is a continual blessing.”

It has been nearly a year since Ozzie crossed Rainbow Bridge, and I think I will forever be seeing his shape in the clouds, hearing his snore in the middle of the night, missing his fur under my hands. He is a continual blessing.

“Ropes” reminds me of Oz and the way he used to jump the fence and wander the neighborhood, always finding a shady spot to nap, which was often a neighbor’s porch. They’d call to let me know where Oz was. He was always friendly and good-natured. He just wanted to explore and assumed the whole world was his friend.

“The Poetry Teacher” is beautiful and touching. So is “Holding On To Benjamin.” I miss Ozzie.
