This is increasingly unenjoyable. The MC is showing no character growth. Just “sincere” remorse, followed by repetition of the same behavior. Also, he’s not funny.
I’ll stop for now but I think I might pick it up again when I’m procrastinating. It’s easy to put down and requires no brain power. However, it is definitely not how I want to spend legitimate free time.

I attributed this whole "mediocre" part to the author's desire to make his character understand that he is not in a game and that every decision he makes has consequences. Usually, the treatment of guilt is short and immediately forgotten but my masochistic side preferred insistence to amusement... Sorry Naomi, I'll advise better for next time =) #DonotforgetPetal
